Michigan will pay for home energy upgrades. We handle the rest.

The Michigan Home Energy Rebates program funds efficiency and electrification work for income-qualified households. For homes that qualify at the enhanced level, approved work is generally covered in full.

Anomaly Building Efficiency Advisors is a registered MiHER contractor. We perform the energy assessment, build the model the program requires, coordinate the trades, and manage the project through completion.

This is an energy program, not a repair program. Funding is based on how much energy your home can save. If your home is already efficient, it may not qualify — and we'll tell you as soon as we know, not after the work starts.

Michigan Home Upgrades is operated by Anomaly Building Efficiency Advisors, a private company and registered contractor in the Michigan Home Energy Rebates (MiHER) program. This is not a government website. The State of Michigan decides who qualifies for rebates.

What it costs

At the enhanced level, homeowners generally pay nothing for approved work.

Occasionally the model identifies work that isn't covered. When that happens you'll know before anything starts, and you can decide whether to cover the difference or proceed with the covered measures only.
